Picnic in the Park
The Scottdale Picnic in the Park is a one-day celebration at Loucks Park that features inflatable slides for the children, face painting, a DJ to play your favorite hits, and affordable food. The day ends with spectacular fireworks display. The Picnic is always held the third Sunday in August.
Veterans Park
The Veterans Park is located between Standard Bank and Scottdale Bank & Trust on Pittsburgh Street, where the monument stands permanently displaying the names of veterans from the Civil War to the present. The park was built with donated funds at no cost to taxpayers. lf you would like to donate to the Veterans Park fund or to volunteer your time, please contact the borough office.
Fall Festival
The Scottdale Fall Festival is a three-day annual celebration featuring a variety of handmade crafts, local and ethnic foods, the highly anticipated parade, a dog show, live entertainment, a 5k race, a children’s area and much more. The festival is held at the Gazebo in the heart of downtown. lt is always held the third weekend in September to welcome fall. For more information, please go to scottdalefallfestival.org.
